OUR FAQ
What are the specific benefits for your children of learning English in a group and in a playful way?
At Kidioma, children not only learn foreign languages in a group, which stimulates their sociability and language learning, but they also do it in a fun way with their friends, in a safe and familiar environment. The workshops are organized in the home of one of the parents, which adds comfort and proximity.
In addition, learning in a group allows children to practice the language in real communication situations, reinforcing their confidence and their ability to learn English or French. This playful approach helps children maintain their interest and motivation for the new language, helping them to enjoy themselves while learning vocabulary and expressing themselves more naturally.
How is your program of English and French courses for children adapted to different age levels and language proficiency?
The main objective of our language workshops at Kidioma is for children to have fun while learning. We carefully adapt each activity to the age and cognitive abilities of the children. Although we work on the same themes, the activities are customized according to the abilities of each group. For example, younger children play with simple pictures, while older children can read and associate words with more complex pictures.
We respect the pace of each child, which ensures positive learning adapted to their needs. At Kidioma, each child progresses in his or her own way and enjoys the process!
How many children per group?
Each Kidioma group has a tutor and a maximum of 5 children. This ensures a personalized and close environment, where each child can actively participate. The minimum to form a group is 2 children, which allows flexibility in the organization of the workshops.
How do you ensure the balance between play and language learning in Kidioma courses?
At Kidioma, play is the key to natural learning. Each session is organized around a specific theme that evolves throughout the month. Children learn vocabulary through songs, manual activities and repetitive dynamics, which facilitates memorization and integration of the language in a fun way.
For example, in December we work with the theme of Christmas. The children sing Christmas songs, learn words related to the holidays and, by the end of the month, they are able to sing and understand all the vocabulary they have worked on. This approach ensures a perfect balance between fun and learning.
What is your teaching methodology?
At Kidioma, we are inspired by the Montessori methodology to encourage cognitive development while children discover a foreign language. The workshops follow a regular structure, with games and activities that vary monthly according to the theme. The groups can be composed of children of different ages (3-6 years old or 6/7-9 years old), which enriches the exchange between them.
Each session begins and ends with a song, ensuring a smooth transition and full immersion in language learning. Depending on the theme of the month, we also include movement or relaxation activities, as well as games that encourage repetition and memorization of vocabulary.

Are the tutors native speakers?
All Kidioma tutors have a level of English or French equivalent to C1 or higher. In addition to being fluent in the language, they have a deep knowledge of the culture of English or French speaking countries, and are trained in our play-based methodology.
We ensure that the tutors have experience working with children and, above all, that they maintain a playful spirit that motivates children to enjoy learning.
How do you take into account special needs or learning difficulties?
Our methodology is designed to adapt to all children, even those with special needs. Each tutor is trained in the principles of positive pedagogy and Montessori methodology, which allows them to offer learning that respects the rhythms and particularities of each child.
At Kidioma, we believe that each child is unique, and we strive to create an environment in which they can explore, learn and grow at their own pace, always in an atmosphere of trust and support.
Can we try a course before registering our children?
Of course! We offer a completely free trial class so that children can experience the workshop before making a commitment - contact us to book a free trial class and see how your children enjoy learning a new language!
What is the price per hour of a kidioma course?
The price per hour depends on the number of children in the group. The price decreases according to the number of children in the group: the more children, the cheaper the class. As a general rule, the rates range from 13 to 31 euros per hour. Contact us for more information.
Where are the Kidioma courses held?
The Kidioma French and English courses are held in the city of Madrid, at the home of the parents of one of the children enrolled in the Kidioma course.
How long does a workshop last? And the subscription?
Workshops last approximately 1 hour. They last a little longer when the children have the workshop at snack time or during lunch.
The subscription to Kidioma is for a minimum of one year (from the beginning of September to the end of June).
Can I pick up my child at school and take him/her directly to the Kidioma course?
Of course you can. It is not mandatory that the tutor accompanies the children from the school to the house where the language workshop takes place. Parents who wish can take care of the transition between school and the workshop themselves (or through someone they trust).
